Abstract submission guidelines and deadlines will be provided on the webinar website. Please refer to these guidelines when preparing and submitting your abstract for consideration.

Each Keynote Presenter will have 30-45 minutes, while Oral Presenter will have 20-25 minutes for presentation including Q/A session.

Each Poster Presenter will have 10-15 minutes for presentation including Q/A.

All presenters are requested to present their paper only in English.

We do not provide any translators during presentations. However, you can hire your own translator for the presentation.

Vladimir Chigrinov

Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. He is an author of 6 books, 31 reviews and book chapters, about 322 journal papers, more than 677 Conference presentations, and 121 patents and patent applications including 38 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974.

He got Excellent Research Award of HKUST School of Engineering in 2012. He obtained Gold Medal and The Best Award in the Invention & Innovation Awards 2014 held at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2014, which was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 20-22 Feb 2014. He is a Member of EU Academy of Sciences (EUAS) since July 2017.

Shunbo Li

Chongqing University, China

Shunbo Li received his BS degree in School of Physics from Chongqing University, China, in 2009 and completed his PhD degree in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, China in 2014.Then, he did postdoctoral research in University of Leeds for 3 years. He also has research experience in Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Japan and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia.

He joined School of Optoelectronics Engineering, Chongqing University, China in 2018. And he is currently a professor in Chongqing University. His research interest is mainly focused on Micro/Nanofluidics and biosensors.

He has published over 80 journal articles in his research area. He is on the editorial board for section biosensors and bioelectronic devices in journal of Biosensors and young editorial board for Cell press journal – Innovation.

Soshu Khiria

Soshu Khiria

Osaka University, Japan
Soshu Kirihara is a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics”, geometric structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.
